What’s On Your Mind?

I think that it’s time to ask you …. What is on YOUR mind when it comes to eLearning?

  • What topics would you like me to cover?
  • Are you have trouble finding the right tool for a particular job?
  • Are you having trouble getting an eLearning project done, ┬ámaybe stuck – do you need some input?

Let me know what’s on yo mind. How can I help?

I would love to hear from you and maybe we can brainstorm on eLearning Radio.

I listen to your show on my commute to work which takes me an hour each way. Your show provides me with insides I need on a daily basis and I enjoy it very much!

I’m a training manager at a mobile telecom retail company and our focus for this year is doing more with E-learning. My challenge is that I don’t have the knowledge about developing good content for E-learning. I’d hate to just transfer a powerpoint into some kind of flash movie and consider that to be E-learning. What I really would like to know is what are the main issues to consider when developing good content for E-learning. Is there some kind of structure you use? My target group is all retail staff (average age 18-28 yrs).

My experience is that the average attention window these wonderful people usually have is about 10 minutes before they get distracted by something else.

Hope you can share your thoughts about this.

    Keep up the good show!

      Hey Romeo

Great question and we are on the same wavelength!

I am working with a client right now that has a bunch of raw Powerpoints that have been used in an ILT (Instructor Led Training) classroom environment for years and we are now moving to a self paced eLearning format.

So as I am working through this, I will make some notes and either post, create a podcast episode or both on how to convert a PowerPoint into an engaging eLearning experience…

But I will put some basic tips in a post by the end of the day…
